PLEASE NOTE: The rosters on this site are taken directly from The History of Pennsylvania Volunteers, 1861 to 1865 by Samuel Bates (Harrisburg, 1870).  This very early history is an excellent resource but has been found to have several errors including misspelled names, incomplete individual records, and/or soldiers missing from the unit list.  The Company C and Company I rosters have been corrected and updated. (March 2005)
Be sure to verify your soldier’s name and rank before searching and utilize other sources, including the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System, sponsored by the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.
