Wearing the uniform of the 95th PVI. By the time of this battle in October 1864, the only remaining part of the "Gosline's Zouave" uniform was the distinctive jacket. Some members evidently still had their original zouave 95th PVI caps, but most had the regular 1858 forage cap by this time.
